This info would REALLY be helpful if it was broken down by region, if not ZIP code. The FCC is collecting data via an iPhone/Android app and this website, and BroadbandReports.com has been testing for years, as has Speedtest.net. So… let’s see the results broken down!!! ANYTHING to give ISPs a swift kick in the ass to improve the consistency and speed of their services.

***Updated 1-05-2011: You must now right click the friend select box, and select open frame in a new tab. Then copy and paste the code to your browser address bar. When you click Invite it’ll appear to do nothing. However, you can know it worked when you repeat the process and see your friends grayed out because they already have the invite!

If you haven’t been following this story, and want to understand the details, we’ve discussed why COICA is all about censoring websites without due process and in violation of the First Amendment. We’ve also discussed how the ongoing (pre-COICA) domain name seizures were riddled with serious errors that appear to violate the law as well, including seizing the domains of blogs regularly used and recognized within the music industry based on evidence involving songs sent by the record labels themselves.
